2005 Northwestern Ontario Fire Fighter Culring Champions from Oliver Paipoonge

Oliver Paipoonge Firefighters have advanced to the nationals representing Northwestern Ontario in the Canadian Firefighters Curling Association championships.  The national bonspiel, ranking behind only the Brier and the Scott Tournament of Hearts, will be held in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories - March 23th - April 3rd, 2005. Dale Dubinsky, Billy Midak, Al Colely and Ross Hogan swept through the bonspiel held in Nipigon on the weekend of February 17-20, 2005.  This is Dale Dubinsky's second opportunity to skip a team in the nationals, as he represented Northwestern Ontario in 2000 in Truro, Nova Scotia. All four are retired firefighters from the Murillo area.  Ken Kurtz (Dryden Fire Dept.) represents the CFCA locally and will be traveling with the team to the nationals in Yellowknife acting as fifth man and coach.
